Vintage Beads

I have been asked many times to explain my Vintage Bead Jewelry. I do NOT buy old necklaces take them apart and restring. One of the activities this business has allowed me to do is my favorite - Shopping. I go to gem shows, bead shows, jewelry shows. I search the web, mail catalog requests, you name it and I have dug up a source. Sometimes it takes a lot of looking, writing, calling, surfing the web, and emailing to find quality items. I repeat, I love to shop. I buy beads from wholesalers who have access to beads that were purchased at auction, sales and from manufactures and importers over 50 years ago. All beads were acquired brand new by  jewelry manufacturer and then stored and forgotten for many years. Now, luckily these beauties are coming out of storage and placed on the market.
